Nozstock Festival
The Nozstock Festival is an annual independent art and music festival, that has been running for nearly 20 years. It started as a mere family BBQ but it has gone from strength to strength. This year 2018 will mark the 20 year anniversary of the traditional event, that has entertained hundreds and thousands of people. It just gets bigger and better, each year and it is family focused. Make sure you book your tickets in time or else, you’ll be regretting the delay once the tickets are sold out.
The Nozstock Festival is a fun family experience and includes a great firework display, supplied by Jordan’s Fireworks. We have been supplying Nozstock Festival, with a great range of fireworks since 2009, and what a spectacular fireworks show it was. This year, the event will be conducted from Friday 20th July to Sunday 22nd July. Nozstock Festival will be celebrating the big 20 and what a show it will be. Not to be missed!
What the festival is about
Nozstock The Hidden Valley celebrates its 20th anniversary, it started as a family get-together where everyone sat around to have some fun, play some music, and just find a reason to create happy memories. Although 20 years later the size of the event has grown immensely, the concept of having a fun-filled summer weekend is still the same. Nozstock festival caters for all ages with activities that everyone can enjoy. There is also plenty more to see and do, things such as cabaret, theatre acts, interactive crafts and games, and the really popular Little Wonderland Kids area where the little ones can create and play, all for free.
This entertainment isn’t restricted to renowned artists and players, instead, it is extended to every individual who is open to contribute to the festival in any way they like. This is what makes this festival open for families and for people of all ages. While most other festivals are focused on music and only accommodate the young ones, the Nozstock Festival brings together families, including younger children and grandparents. It also caters for the for teens, students, seasoned festivalites and party-starters. There is some sort of entertainment for everyone so that the true intention of the festival can be fulfilled. Where it takes place
The event is held at The Hidden Valley. There is a farmhouse on the side of the valley which acts as the central site for the festival. There are different stages for different types of performances. For example, the Garden Stage accommodates electronic bounce-inducing artists whereas the Orchard is the performing ground for renowned artists who attend the festival. Other than musical performances, there are also comedy sessions, workshops, live sessions, etc. People can learn to dance, sing-along the artists or simply enjoy a movie or short-film screening at the mini-cinema. It is a fun-filled experience with a diverse range of events.
The festival even offers shopping stalls, it’s an event that truly utilizes every single minute of the day. There are events scheduled until after midnight for the late night owls who like to enjoy rather than sleep. At the same time, there is enough time to rest so that people can fully enjoy every aspect of the festival without getting exhausted. The festival serves vegetarian food too. This is yet another proof that the Nozstock festival is for everyone, regardless of age, gender or food choices!
