As our Country calls on all our key workers from NHS staff, supermarket workers, delivery men and women, vets, cleaners and many many more. It is now our chance to show our appreciation every Thursday at 8pm.
In previous weeks we’ve seen the nation pull together as one, to boost morale and show our deep gratitude for the sacrifices our heroic key workers are making.
Clapping, cheers, music and fireworks echoed in our streets to make as much noise as we can, for the people who are working day and night to care for our nation.
The popular rocket fireworks lit our skies with an explosion of stars, giving us a little hint of magic and hope in this unprecedented time. With children and parents enjoying sparklers in their gardens and low noise neon lights kept our pets relaxed as we showed our thanks.
Landmarks such as the Shard and Windsor Castle were also lit up in blue to pay tribute to the work of the NHS.
