Edinburgh is one of the biggest events to take place in the Scottish capital each year, with lots of things going on the festival is closed with a fireworks concert, this year is the 33rd concert, the first one took place in 1982!
More than 400,000 fireworks, some travelling upto 200mph, will be set off to a live accompaniment from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, led by conductor Garry Walker.
The explosive end to the festival will take place at the Ross Theatre in Princes Street Gardens on Monday August 31st at 9pm and will be enjoyed by more than 250,000 people from a variety of locations.
