[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ugust is a very busy month for us. We will have received final confirmations that all our orders placed with manufacturers are OK, we will have entered all of the new products on to our web site data base (we now have around 300 products on our web site) and we will have sent out all of our new firework brochures.

With the increasing cost of postage we have had to look at how we send out the large number of brochures we post to customers. This year we have a new system that has reduced our costs considerably and whereas many companies no longer send out a printed brochure we are still able to. We feel that whilst the web site provides more products and up to date information, it is still nice to get something ‘solid’ arrive in the post. It also jogs many of our customer’s minds into thinking that Bonfire Night is not far away and its time to think about ordering. Over the years our mailing list has grown and it now takes several days stuffing all the envelopes and labelling them. As Internet prices can fluctuate rapidly we have taken the approach of producing a separate price list rather than printing the prices in the brochure itself. This allows us to change prices quickly to ensure that we offer our customers the most competitive prices in the market.
