[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his September fireworks fans are in for a real treat. Not one but four displays over four consecutive weekends so there is opportunity for everyone so see at least one of these spectacular show.
The fireworks are fired from the North Pier and the best spectator viewing is between The Tower Festival Headland and North Promenade, although the displays can be seen as far away as Cleveleys.
There is no charge to see thousands of pounds worth of the most spectacular fireworks – it’s FREE!
The displays will commence at 8.30pm but you need to arrive early to get a good viewing position.
On Friday 6th September a team from Ireland will provide the first display of the competition.
On Friday 13th September a team from China will compete.
On Friday 20th September the third fireworks display team are from France
And on Friday 27th September. The final fireworks display of 2013 is a non competition display from British Pyrotechnical experts Titanium which will bring the event to a spectacular close. The winners of this year’s Blackpool International Fireworks Competition will also be announced on this final day.
