Delivering Fireworks

November 12, 2013 by The Bang

There have been big changes regarding the delivery of fireworks in 2013. One of the longest established and leading couriers companies who would deliver fireworks in the UK (most couriers will not deliver fireworks) decided that of immediate effect (they announced this just before the main bonfire delivery season had started) that they would no longer transport fireworks.

This gave the firework trade a major headache just at the wrong time. Fortunately they relented on their initial decision and continued to transport fireworks up until the 5th November, meaning that all the firework companies that used this particular courier were able to deliver their firework orders for bonfire night.

However that deadline has now passed and some companies will now find it extremely difficult to offer a nationwide delivery service.

There are couriers who will transport fireworks nationwide but the costs can be astronomical compared to the transport of non hazardous goods.

Twelve months ago we at Jordans Fireworks started to implement a new delivery service and how fortunate that has turned out to be. We are able to offer an express delivery service to most parts of mainland UK are are able to deliver from Lands End to John O’ Groats. Not only are we able to deliver direct to our customers but as well as offering some of the cheapest prices for fireworks on the internet we are also able to offer free delivery to most parts of the UK for orders of just £195, which in these current times is unheard of.

We can still to deliver to all parts of the Scottish mainland but due to the high cost of fuel (we are  sure we don’t need to tell you how much diesel costs) we do have to apply a  small surcharge of £14.95 for certain Scottish postcodes.

Our delivery service is available all year round, not just at Bonfire Night, so whenever you want fireworks to celebrate an event you can rely on us to deliver.
