The line-up for this year’s British Musical Fireworks Championships in Stockport has now been unveiled.
Taking place over three nights from October 3rd, this year’s championships will be held at Victoria Park, home of the Southport Flower Show and will feature seven world class pyrotechnic companies battling it out to win the coveted title.
The competition will start off with a bang on Friday October 3rd with a performance from Wiltshire based Distant Thunder who will then be followed by 2004 competition winners Allstar Fireworks.
Saturday’s line-up will see three new competitors making their debut, Blackburn’s Classic Fireworks, Smart Pyrotechnics from Salisbury and Northampton’s Gala Fireworks.
While the final night will see Solihull Fireworks put on a display before 2009 winners, Flashpoint Fireworks, who hail from Surrey, close the championship.
