A grand firework display will mark William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday on Wednesday April 23rd.
The Royal Shakespeare Company will mark what would have been Shakespeare’s 450th birthday with a range of birthday festivities that include an impressive firework display from the top of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Following a performance of Henry IV Part I, the fireworks begin at 10:30pm and have been dubbed a commemoration of the ‘Star of Poets’ after Ben Johnson’s description of Shakespeare.
