The UK firework industry has to deal on a daily basis with the storage and transport of fireworks. However Latest firework advances in firework design are ground breaking for 2017.
A new company from China may have the answers to these problems. Doo Mee Fireworks have investigated what the source of the problem is; and the answer is quite simple, it is the fact that fireworks are classed as explosives. Therefore if fireworks can be reclassified as something else considerably less hazardous this would get around the issues of storage and transport.
Doo Mee Fireworks have therefore removed all the offending material from their fireworks, namely all the gunpowder, stars etc and the end result is a firework that is perfectly safe and can be stored and transported in any quantity.
Now some people may think that removing all the gunpowder and effects from a firework will reduce its performance somewhat but this is the clever part – some people want quiet fireworks and this range from Doo Mee fireworks are certainly very quiet. Also by removing all the gunpowder and effects Doo Mee’s fireworks can even be used indoors.
Regarding the transportation of Doo Mee’s fireworks; as they are now only made from cardboard they can even be sent in the post, so no more having to use expensive specialist firework couriers and as they no longer contain any gunpowder and effects they weigh considerably less, so no more lifting heavy boxes of fireworks.
Some traditionalists may argue that these are no longer fireworks but Doo Mee think the advantages their fireworks have over traditional fireworks out weigh any negative points.
Doo Mee Fireworks will be introducing their new range on Saturday (1st April 2017).
