We are a bit late doing our round up of this year’s Spring Fair at the NEC but that is because we have been busy getting some bargains for our annual Spring Sale, details of which will follow shortly.
Anyway what was new at the Spring Fair. Well for starters several large companies didn’t attend, namely Fireworks International & Cosmic Fireworks both whom have attended for several years. However on the positive side of things Black Cat/Standard Fireworks who have not had a stand at the fair for many years were in attendance and Benwell Fireworks were also there despite not being in the list of exhibitors circulated prior to the fair.

So what is new, well to be honest quite a bit promised but currently very little actually confirmed. Brothers Pyrotechnics will be launching a new Mini Hercules after the success they had last year with Mini Fireworks Crazy and they also have plans for a louder version of Hercules. Black Cat/Standard Fireworks will be increasing their range of compound fireworks. Compound Fireworks are large ‘displays in a box’ where several fireworks are pre-fused together so you only have to light one fuse. Absolute Fireworks are also going to be going down that road. In 2016 they had all their compound style fireworks only available as fireworks where the public had to join the fuses together. This meant that we had to explain in detail to each customer how they had to join the fuses together, very time consuming and in some cases customers changed their mind to one of the pre-fused compound fireworks for simplicity.

Full details of what is new should be available in the next couple of months.
